Community Hui

Thursday 20th October

Refreshments provided

The Board's primary responsibility is to foster student achievement, as mandated by the Education Act 1989.  In order to do that, we have identified 9 major levers that we can pull at CQS to get there:

Have plenty of teachers
Hire fantastic staff
Provide great classrooms & facilities
Gain access to great teaching resources
Develop strong teaching & learning programs
Have a passion for excellence
Actively embrace diversity
Create an engaged & supportive community
Provide sustainable finances

We are very keen to hear what parents and caregivers think of these.  We are also keen to find out where you think we should place our priorities.

You will be given an opportunity to vote on the priorities at the town-hall meeting and to provide feedback on the strategy.  We would also like to hear from anybody who is prepared to volunteer or can potentially contribute to some of the activities behind each of these levers.

This is a great opportunity to come and meet the new board members.  We look forward to seeing you there.
